They can communicate with each other in a new way. What is the Internet of things?  The term “the Internet of things" has come to describe a number of technologies and research disciplines that enable the Internet to reach out into the real world of physical objects. 物联网把所有物品通过射频识别（RFID）、红外感应器、全球定位系统、激光扫描器等信息传感设备与互联网连接起来，进行信息交换和通讯，实现智能化识别、定位、跟踪、监控和管理 The foundation of “the Internet of things" is still the Internet . But it is more advanced and useful than the Internet. But by the technology， the information can be exchanged among all the connected things directly. It will be what you can see in the picture below. The technologies related to it RFID :（Radio frequency identification）射频识别技术 GPS:全球定位系统 Sensing technology:传感技术 The Internet and so on 物联网原理 1利用RFID、无线数据通信等技术，构造一个覆盖世界上万事万物的“Internet of Things” 2物联网可分为三层：感知层、网络层和应用层。 The influence It will have a lot of influence on our life. Such as intelligent transportation， public safety， environment protection， individual health and so on. Some examples 1 If the driver does something wrong， the car will have automatic alarm. If the driver is tired， the car can “drive” by itself without a driver. 2 If you go to work in the morning， your intelligent bag will remind you of what you have forgotten. 3 If you are ill， the doctor can know your condition no matter where you are. 4 If you will go home after work， you can turn on the air-conditioner or other home appliances in advance. The technology will be made use of in many aspects of our life. Evaluation “The Internet of things” is called the third wave of world information industry after the computer and the Internet.
