真题解析:
Rich countries often give financial aid to poor countries ,but it does not solve the poverty, so rich countries should give other types of help to the poor countries rather than the financial aid?
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
颠覆性思维的开篇---细化的思维训练(一)
It is quite common for rich countries like the United Kingdom and Australia to offer a wide range of aid to help poor countries that are lacking in money or resources. For example, the Australian government offered Laos as many as 10,000 boxes of medicine last year.
支持方
There is a view held by some people that wealthy countries should offer aid in alternative forms such as education or technology instead of strictly financial support because they believe that financial aid given to poor countries does nothing to alleviate poverty. However, I disagree with this view because most poor countries rely on direct financial support to relieve the pressure of poverty. The citizens of such countries will suffer from hunger and illness if financial aid is withdrawn. In other words, no other forms of aid are more effective or immediate than the financial.
On the other hand, offering alternative forms of aid is more effective when what a country urgently needs is not money. Take Iraq for example, Iraq is a country which has abundant crude oil resources, which means it owns a great deal of wealth. But what Iraq needs most is millitary training and equipment such as missiles, tanks, jets ,and so on to strengthen its police force and maintain stability. This suggests that sometimes other kinds of aid are more effective than just plain money.
完美结尾篇
Personally , I think that as long as rich countries help poor ones ,any forms of aid is acceptable. As a result, the gap between rich and poor countries at the world levels will shrink, which will play an essential role in creating global development and world peace.

In some countries, the government encourages industries and businesses to move from large cities to rural areas. do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages ?
政府/工作生活类—工厂是否搬迁到城市边缘吗?
The looks of cities have shaped people’s behaviors on a large scale due to its ripple effect. Factories can be rarely seen in inner city blocks, and some city dwellers have said farewell to business offices in downtown areas. I definitely believe it will be a popular worldwide trend with some overt benefits, despite some minor problems.
结尾段
By and large, relocating industries and businesses to regional areas carries more benefits than downsides in the long run ,and people will always neglect the very few problems while they are enjoying the greater pleasure of work.
教育类
University students always focus on specialist subject, but some people think universities should encourage their students to study a range of subjects in addition to their own subjects. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
首段细化加批判性思维
Many universities have started to introduce more courses to encourage their students to study a broader range of subjects, from theories to practical skills. Yet, opponents say any subjects outside the student’s major field of study should be rigidly excluded from their curriculum. I can barely agree with this problem.
First of all, it is important for young people to learn as many useful subjects as possible to prepare for career changes in the future. It is now very common for very people to change their careers several times before finally knowing what they like and should be doing. A student of English language and literature, for example, may finally settle down in a car company working as a marketing assistant. Therefore, a broader range of skills and knowledge may give great help when they decide to switch to a new job.
Also, students need to take a wider range of courses so that they can develop the common sense or practical skills needed to cope with real-life problems. A survey by the America institute for research found that more than half of the four-year college students lack the ability to figure out a tip, compare prices, or even balance the checkbook, though they fare better in job application or reading newspaper. It seems that they have extremely outstanding book smarts, but unexpectedly fail to do real-life tasks. In such cases, some extra courses such as accounting and money management should be highly recommended.
完美结尾篇
In conclusion, a reasonable range of extra courses will of great benefits to those university students who want to sharpen their competitiveness in society and develop practical skills in life or simply enjoy life on campus.
