The name of Hebi comes from the fairy tale that “Grane’s habitat in the south slope of Nan Mountain ”
“鹤壁”因相传“仙鹤栖于南山峭壁” 而得名
Location
In the northern of Henan Province
On the eastern mountain slope of the Taihang Mountain ，north to the Yellow River
Beijing –Guangzhou line ，Peking-Hongkong line and the national rail line 107 all pass through it.

Now，Qi River is always the mother river of Hebi ，it passes through the whole city ，and my home is in Qibin District（淇滨区） ， the name means “the bank of QiRiver ”
